Due to the recent surge in COVID-19 cases in Florida, we had already canceled the bowling event previously scheduled at the end of August. We have received numerous queries from many of you asking about Navratri and Diwali Festival of Lights events this year. You were keen on dancing at Navratri and to start practicing for Diwali performances. Vendors were also reaching out to ask for booths.
We had enthusiastically started looking into hosting those events in person. However, with recent events and increased hospitalization rates, and keeping the safety and health of our community members in mind, we have come to the decision that we need to cancel both the Navratri and Diwali Festival of Lights events in 2021.
